AIR JET – PICANOL OMNI 2P
The rigid construction of the machine, together with very complete and effective anti-starting mark procedures helps to ensure excellent quality for this demanding fabric. Productivity is enhanced by the Pick Repair Automation (PRA) system, which enables incompletely inserted wefts to be removed automatically and the loom to be restarted in less than 30 seconds. This not only reduces the weaver’s workload, but also gives a consistent fabric aspect on restarting the loom.
The general information of the loom is 750 PPM, 6 heald frame, 2 color insertion, weaving width 190 cm, cam facility, auto filling detection, monitor for data input and out put, compact and less space requirement.
The warp tensioning on medium-weight and heavy denim fabrics calls for the robustness of a double backrest roller, eliminating tension variations from full to empty beam. On take-up the double pressure roller secures the fabric against the sand roller even when doffing a finished roll on the batching motion causes the tension in the fabric to fall.
RAPIER – PICANOL GAMMA 6R
The PICANOL GAMMA 6R is popular for weaving both standard and fancy denims because of the sureness with which fabric quality can be achieved. The machine’s rigid construction is in itself a guarantee of long service life, and is well suited to fabrics which place heavy loads on the structure.
The general information of the loom is 550 PPM, 16 heald frame, 6 color/yarn insertion, dobby facility, weaving width 190 cm, auto filling detection, monitor for data input and out put, compact design.
When changing batch rolls, the fabric in the batching motion comes loose, but this poses no problem on a PICANOL GAMMA 6R equipped with a double pressure roller on the sand roller take-up, which prevents any reverse slippage of the fabric. This accurate fabric tensioning and positioning together with the rigidity of construction and the effective and simple anti-starting mark procedures, included as standard on all PICANOL GAMMA 6R machines, make it possible to exploit the versatility of the machine to the full.
With capture of the weft before beat-up by the ELSY selvedge device, consistent weft tension in the fabric is achieved for stable quality output over the whole length of the beam.
As in the production of denim fabrics sometimes stretch qualities are produced, adjustable weft scissors give the possibility to optimize the scissor settings for each type of article.
PROJECTILE – OPTIMAZ 2P
Projectile weaving machines fulfill all of the textile industry’s requirements in regard to quality and performance. With projectile weft insertion virtually any yarn can be woven, e.g. cotton, wool, silk, mono- and multi filaments and tapes, as well as hard fibers like jute and linen, and even metal.
General information are 700 PPM with double width, weaving width 150 cm, low power consumption, no material loss, thanks to tucked-in selvedges, top reliability, functionality, and ease of operation, low servicing and maintenance costs, long-term retention of value thanks to upgrades.
